Notes:

1. Here, "memory" refers to Random Access Memory (RAM), not to Hard Disk Drives.  RAM capacities are usually measured in megabytes (MB), hard drive capacities are usually measured in gigabytes (GB).
2. This is a 168 pin stick (approximately 133 milimetres long).   Please check that your motherboard's slot is long enough to accomodate this type of memory.   (If the slot is not the same length then your motherboard supports some other kind of memory, not SDRAM.)
3. There are two notches on the stick.  If you look at the picture above, notice two breaks in gold pins at the bottom of the stick.  Please check that your motherboard has the same number of corresponding ridges.  (If there is only one ridge, and the slot is of around the same length, your motherboard supports DDR memory, not SDRAM.)
